Friends for a lifetime...

I heard it once said that we have friends for a reason, friends for a season and then we have friends for a lifetime... We had such a great time visiting The Finegans in their new place... their first place as a married couple. The best part of our weekend... besides all of the yummy food, walks on the beach, watching the sunset, listening to the waves crash from their home, and just relaxing was just having the chance to be real... real with who we are and where we are at. I was thankful all over again this weekend for the treasured friendship that we have in both of them! The other thing that totally blessed my heart this weekend was to see how our best friends just loved on our daughter...

My happy heart

I have been posting a lot of my client's photo shoots... and not a whole lot personally lately and I thought I would share some of my own personal favorites from our family and some of my recent reflections!!!! The first thing that comes to my mind is the simple fact that God is sooo good! He has given me a happy heart filled with joy. He has given me a passion for photography... and challenged me to use it to his glory. He has allowed me a unique opportunity to take something that is a love and hobby for me and bless others with it. It brings me sheer joy when someone I photograph loves what I have been able to capture for them...
My little fam is another reason that I have a happy heart! It's amazing to me how my love has changed and grown over the years for my hubby... But there is something sooo hot and makes me fall in love with him all over again when I see how he loves on our daughter! Seeing how much she just adores her daddy brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart! I love just getting lost in the simple things... like last night as we drove in the car singing "Alabare" totally off key and our car filled with laughter... she loved every moment of it and kept asking us to sing "mo"

A love like theirs... Moniay and Linda

With a love like theirs... Moniay and Linda shared some sweet moments together! Not only are they extremely fun to be around, they kept me laughing and entertained!!! It was fun to see their eyes filled with that loving sparkle and faces with smiles as we celebrated their engagement with a photo shoot.

Love + Chapel = Beautiful Wedding Day in Tahoe

This wedding was absolutely beautiful! They exchanged their vows the most perfect spot which overlooked South Lake Tahoe. It was fun to watch Ashley and Doug with each other on their special day as their excitement and love was contagious! I was honored to be a part of such an intimate and sweet ceremony.

Meet Makenna Joy

This sweet one was absolutely precious! She is definitely adored by both of her parents and I was thankful to be able to capture these special moments on camera for them to hold onto! I loved being around this little one! It's amazing to me how little they really are! And how quickly I forgot, but I loved every moment of this reminder!
